Elyse Martin

Elyse is our newest member of our staff and is another of our full-time veterinary nurses. She is 22 years old and has recently moved to Canberra from Bowral in NSW with her partner. She has always loved all animals and is lucky enough that she has found a job she truly loves.

Elyse's special interests are medical workups and dog behaviour. Outside of work she enjoys being outdoors, riding her Horse and watching the AFL.

She has a 1 and 1/2 year old Staffy named Ruben who would play all day everyday if anyone could keep up with his energy levels! She has also recently aquired a gorgeous domestic longhair kitten named Sachi.

Kylie Walford

Kylie is one of our part-time vet nurses. She has lived in waramanga since 2001 and started working with us as a cattery attendant in April 2006. She decided to further her skills and knowledge and started vet nursing in December 2008. She is currently studying for her Cert IV in Vet Nursing with Box Hill Institue by correspondance and hopes to complete her Certificate this year.

Everything animals is her passion and first love but she also enjoys eating out, travelling and watching movies. Kylie has 4 cats, Elwood, Deacon, Monet and Ielish. She also has 3 dogs, Indiana, Navare and Samuel (the destructor!)  It is with much sadness that we announce that one of Kylie's most beloved cats "Bubba Weenie"  passed away in April after a long battle with lung cancer. Rest in Peace Bubba- You will be dearly missed by Kylie and all the staff here.
