Cat Boarding

Weston Creek Veterinary Hospital offers a variety of cat boarding as an additional service for our clients, since it is not always possible to take our feline friends away on holidays or for a weekend trip.

The style of boarding can be tailored to suit the duration of each cat's stay with us, together with feeding regimes and medication requirements.

  • 'Short stay' boarding is designed for cats staying for less than seven days. Each cat has their own accommodation.
  • 'Long stay' boarding can accommodate up to three cats in each unit. The multi-level suite design permits more exercise than 'short stay' boarding.
  • 'Senior' boarding is reserved for more elderly cats. It allows more exercise space than 'short stay' boarding, but on a single level to minimise the risk of injury.

To maximise the health of pets in our facility, all cats accepted for boarding must have been vaccinated within the past year. Any boarding cats displaying signs of ill-health receive prompt veterinary attention, and a comfortable temperature is maintained in the Hospital by a combination of in-floor slab heating and evaporative cooling.

Please note: As our facilities are popular with our clients, peak periods such as Christmas, New Year and Easter need to be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment
