If this were the case with your pet, we would discuss with you the options regarding the proposed surgical treatment plan, and then make arrangements for you and your pet to see the specialist for further assessment before the surgery. Dr. Sarah Webb is a specialist surgeon based at Gungahlin Veterinary Hospital. She offers a wealth of surgical knowledge and skill in chest surgeries, abdominal surgeries, orthopedics and many other complex procedures. She also utilises endoscopic equipment, which allows examination of the nose, throat, bronchi, oesophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, as well as the bladder, with a tiny camera. This often avoids diagnostic surgery (e.g. to obtain biopsies) from these body systems. |
