Intensive Care Special care is required for seriously or critically ill animals. Our dedicated team of vets and nurses provide the care your pets need to stabilise their condition.

This may include intravenous fluids and oxygen supplementation (either via a nasal oxygen tube, or in an "oxygen tent" cage) while diagnostic tests are being run, then continuous drug infusion and monitoring. |
| Emergency surgery may even be performed, depending upon the nature of the illness. While such times can often be trying for both pet and owner, we will keep you informed of your pet's progress, the costs involved to date and any ongoing costs envisaged. We also provide visiting hours for owners to spend time with their pets. |

For pets that require emergency attention out of our regular consulting hours, an after-hours emergency service is provided 365 days a year by the Animal Emergency Centre Canberra.
